Corolle Mon Premier Nursery Doll Bed – 13″x 19″x 11″ Review
I bought this for my granddaughters (ages 4 and 2) because they so loved it when they spied it in a toy store. My daughter and son-in-law are not big on too many or plastic toys, which I certainly understand. So, it is a toy that lives at my house and allows my granddaughters to know that their babies – also Corolle – are sleeping peacefully in it until they come again. It is a tad flimsy and does not fold like the real thing, which was disappointing. It might not handle the rigors of daily play but is a delicious treat for two beloved girls.

Learning Curve Caring Corners Helping With Groceries Review
I bought this little set for my 2.5 yr old daughter. We don’t own the Caring Corners Dollhouse. She uses it in her Fisher Price My First Dollhouse (another good buy!) and a vintage Little Tikes Dollhouse I had saved from my childhood. The size of the doll and grocery cart fit very well into both houses.
I have to say that the doll’s hair is a bit weird. Only the ponytail is made of actual hair, the rest of her head has painted on hair. My daughter didn’t even seem to notice though.
Also, the food in the grocery cart is all one peice except for the long peice of French Bread which could pose as a choking hazard if you have younger kids in the house who are still putting everything in their mouths. I have a six month old so I just took the bread stick and put it into a ziploc with other small accessories that I’m saving (from barbies, My Little Ponies, and other toys) for when the kids are older.
The wheels on the grocery cart do actually roll which is nice. I know many kid’s may not recognize the odd shape of the cart but since we often shop at Whole Foods and Central Market (which use similar carts) my daughter wasn’t thrown off by it. You could explain it as a “Market” cart maybe.
I would recommend this item and many of the other Caring Corner accesories for use in any dollhouse. I like that this line has many accessories not seen else where (this is the first dollhouse grocery cart I’ve ever seen)….BUT I WOULD NOT recommend paying this price. I paid about at Target!!!

Alexander Dolls Baby Cuddles Feeding Baby 14″ Review
I wanted to purchase a simple doll for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. I didn’t want anything that lit up, or talked, or sang. I just wanted a beatiful and traditional baby doll. That is exactly what I got. This doll is durable and stands up to the love of a toddler. She has pretty blue eyes that close when she is layed down. The marble eyes are very pretty and work perfectly. They never get stuck. The doll is small and the perfect size for toddler arms. She might be a bit too small for older girls though. The baby has a very pretty face. Overall this doll is beautiful, durable, and a perfect gift for a little mommy. She is also an excellent value. I will be buying my little girl a new Madame Alexander doll every Christmas. I am sold on this brand.

Barbie 50th Anniversary Barbie as Marilyn Monroe Blonde Ambition Pink Label Collector Doll Review
I grew up with Barbies as a child in the 70′s, and now I collect them as an adult, these doll’s are just pure fun and lots of fantasy!! I mostly collect repros and pop culture and I have all the Marilyn Barbies. This year is Barbies 50th anniversary and I must say they have really made buying hard to resist! This new Marilyn doll is gorgeous! I think Mattel did a wonderful job recreating Marilyn’s soft face, dreamy sad eyes, and sexy open mouth lips. Her glamorous eye poping, neck plunging, gold dress is from one of her most famous photo’s, she also wore the dress in the 1953 movie “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”. There is also film footage of her receiveing an award in this dress. The doll comes with a pair of very cute gold sling back heels,dazzling golden earrings, her nails and toes are painted red, and also comes with a stand. The box has lovely art pictures of Marilyn with a bit of info about her career and influence on the cluture. I think this is more for a adult collector. This is the first doll in the “Blonde Ambition collection”. I think anyone who loves Marilyn would be happy with this doll! I can’t wait to see the next doll in the collection and hope Mattel will make a new Farrah Fawcett doll, I think it’s time for a Farrah doll, as she was as much of a beloved icon of the 70′s, as Marilyn was to the 50′s!

LeapFrog My First LeapPad Alphabet Bus Review
I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews of this LeapPad because a child had trouble using it, or it didn’t hold the child’s attention very long. That’s not the toy’s fault; you have to have realistic expectations. If your child is under the recommended age of 36 months+, or just has a very active personality, then your child will not get a lot out of this toy! That said, if your child likes to spend a lot of time “reading” books alone, will sit down with a project for a while, and enjoys figuring out new things independently, s/he will probably love it. My daughter turned 4 today and has been enjoying this LeapPad for a very long time. She thrives on the problem solving and showing off her burgeoning writing, drawing, and numbers skills. Because she enjoys independent play and has the attention span to carry through with something for some time, it can occupy her for quite a while if need be. Just don’t expect your 2-year-old to fall in love with it right away! There are other LeapPads designed for the younger set which they will enjoy more and find easier to use.
As far as quality, we haven’t had any trouble with anything malfunctioning. Still good as new! I gave 4 stars for durability only because a younger child is bound to carry the thing around by the pen, no matter how many times you warn them not to…. and I could see that cord wearing out if that happened enough times.
